River Trent Trip
On Sunday we bring the group back together to show case what we have learnt throughout the weekend as we paddle up the River Trent to the football stadiums.
Please remember to take some snacks and a drink with you.
A risk assessment can be found on the on the ‘Risk Assessment' tab under ‘Governance’.
- All kayaking equipment (boat, paddle, buoyancy aid, spray deck and helmet). Please speak to Aidan if you require any of this kit.
- Wetsuit/Drysuit
- Windproof Cag
- Footwear you don't mind getting wet
- Clothing you don't mind getting wet.
- Spare change of dry clothes.
- Towel
It is worth noting that the water quality of the River Trent is variable and showering after the event at the centre or campsite is advisable.
The Organising Committee of the Summer Camp believe that the welfare and wellbeing of all children is paramount. All children, regardless of age, disability, gender, race, religion or belief, have equal rights to safety and protection. All suspicions, concerns and allegations of harm will be taken seriously and responded to swiftly and appropriately.
