THIS TRIP HAS PRE-REQUISITES. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK ON UNLESS YOU HAVE SPOKEN TO MIKE LIMMER. YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED CERTAIN SEA INTRO SESSIONS.
This weekend is aimed at looking to progress sea kayaking skills following completion of Introduction to Sea Kayaking. The session will cost £6 to contribute towards the club in upskilling future coaches/leaders and to ensure our coaches can stay up to date with first aid etc…
The 2 days will be based on and around Anglesey , leaving from Anglesey Outdoors after a morning briefing.
Most paddlers will be staying at Anglesey Outdoors, from the Friday night, who offer a range of options for guests (see website).
As with all activities on the sea the weather will dictate what we can do and where we can go . On occasions it can be so stormy that we cannot paddle at all, so bring waterproofs, walking boots etc and a sense of humour!
Numbers will be limited as per Paddle UK remit .
You will be required to source your own boat for the weekend and bring your own equipment - paddles , helmets, buoyancy aids , decks , dry suit/wetsuit and cag (please ask Mike if you need to borrow Club equipment and book it out and bring with you). You will be responsible for any borrowed boats or equipment.

The Organising Committee of the Anglesey Sea Trip believe that the welfare and wellbeing of all children is paramount.
